Conversation analysis

Conversation analysis is the research approach we are using in this project. With this approach we collect and analyse video-recordings of people talking and doing other joint activities. Analysis involves examining how people use their talk and visual conduct (e.g. gaze, gestures) to communicate. We analyse the actions that people perform (such as requesting, challenging each other, sharing experiences), and the ways in which they do so.
